What You’ll Do:
The Compliance Senior Manager will ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures, review process maps and supporting standard operating procedures. Â
- Maintain thorough knowledge of NV state and local jurisdictions cannabis laws and regulations
- Review process maps and standard operating procedures for business partners
- Maintain compliance document retention programs and keep corporate compliance updated on all compliance matters and risks
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections/audits, investigations and internal review processes
- Act as the state compliance lead with state and local regulators and Curaleaf staff
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Willingness to complete required and recommended training
- Collaborate and advise other departments such as Operations, Retail, DEC, HR/P&C, Sales and Marketing on risk Â
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in federal or state controlled-substance regulatory compliance management
- Experience in cannabis industry (preferred but not required)
- General knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements
- Proficient in spreadsheet and data management software, particularly EXCEL
- Experience in staff development desired
- Be able to pass a background check and obtain CCB Agent Cards
- Willing to participate in an extensive background check
- Are trustworthy and hardworking
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent time-management skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively plan and prioritize
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to act with a sense of urgency
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to focus; attention to detail
- Ability to communicate clearly and calmly
- Skills at using computers, web browsers, Metrc and other software systems such as C-15 and Monday.com
- Ability to remain calm in periods of high stress or unusual activity
- Absolute reliability and honesty
