Penumbra Europe GmbH, based in Berlin and headquartered in Alameda, California, is a global healthcare company focused on innovative therapies for stroke patients. Penumbra designs, develops, manufactures and markets novel medical technology products with a diversified portfolio. Our customers are hospitals and healthcare providers through direct sales in the United States, Europe, Canada and Australia, as well as through distributors in select international markets. 

To strengthen our Legal team, we are looking for a full-time Compliance Specialist (m/f/d) to work hybrid in our Berlin office or remotely in Europe as soon as possible.

What You'll Work On

• Enhancing Corporate Integrity: Comprehensive Support for Our Compliance Function.
• Streamlining Success: Expert Contract Drafting and Administrative Support for Seamless Execution.
• Ensuring Ethical Code Requirements: Expert Review and Guidance for Interactions with Healthcare Professionals and Organizations
• Driving Legal Excellence: Collaborating on Compliance and Contract Management Systems Development.
• Empowering Teams: Developing and Delivering Engaging Compliance Training Programs.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Legal or Business and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical or comparable regulated environment desirable.
• Experience working with contract templates and the ability to review and revise basic contractual provisions.
• Excellent documentation skills and strong abilities in managing and archiving files and documents
• Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize assignments while handling various projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable managing deadlines and shifting priorities.
• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluency in English required, very good knowledge of French is desirable.
