Compliance Systems and Analytics Director

Binance is looking for a Compliance Systems and Analytics expert that will make up part of our leadership team tasked to grow and develop the team to deliver systems and analytics solutions within our Compliance division.

Responsibilities

• Enhance Compliance Systems and Analytics with a goal to optimize screening models and thresholds.

• Work with On and Off-Chain SMEs to develop typologies algorithms and controls to meet regulatory requirements.

• Ensure all change control processes and documentation meet regulatory standards.

• Develop and oversee model validation program.

• Develop MIS to help drive team efficiencies and to inform leadership on compliance performance and effectiveness.

• Tune all TM rules supported by appropriate documentation.

• Develop deploy modify and/or remove ~4 rules per quarter within defined efficacy rate until all gaps are filled. (with auditable documentation).

• MIS reporting: develop maintain and deliver periodic - MIS reporting covering all defined requirements.

• Customer Risk Scoring Model optimization and validation

• Customer screening rule optimization and validation

• Integration of Travel Rule data into screening and monitoring systems

• Consult on enhancements to case management and other platforms to increase operational efficiencies

Requirements

• 10 or more years of work experience within Compliance and 5 or more years experience in data analytics/science

• Bachelor’s Degree minimum requirement advanced degrees in data science or related field preferred

• Compliance related certifications (CAMS CFE etc) preferred

• Working knowledge and interest in crypto/digital currencies and technology strategy

• Knowledge and experience in fundamental core consulting skills such as structured problem solving communication self-driven energized and detail-oriented

• Must be able to develop enduring strategic relationships with internal / external clients and across the organization
