We are seeking a Compliance & Third-Party Risk Assessment Intern to join our team. This is a 6-9 month internship and will require 40 hours per week.
Job Summary
As a Compliance and TPRM Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain experience and contribute to the overall compliance and security efforts of our organization. You will support the compliance and information security team by evaluating and assessing third party privacy and security practices through vendor due diligence and partnering with internal and external business stakeholders to ensure alignment and adherence with Imprivata's privacy and security standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensure responsible parties comply with Imprivata's Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program guidelines.
  • Manage creation of vendor intake assessments and ensure they are completed in a timely and proficient manner.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Procurement, Compliance, and Information Security teams.
  • Assist in vetting and project manage third-party privacy and security assessments to validate vendor security performance and identify potential compliance and security vulnerabilities.
  • Help maintain documentation, records, and reports related to the vendor risk management program.

Qualifications
  • Enrolled in an accredited university/college program (preferably in Information Security, Risk Management, or other related field of study).
  • Strong interest in compliance, Information security, and vendor risk management.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills.
  • Confidence in collaborating with internal and external partners.
  • Proficient communication skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Have a willingness to learn and adapt to new projects and ideas.

This position offers a salary range of $18.00/hour to $22.00/hour). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here . This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
