Tubi, Inc. seeks a Computer and Information Systems Manager (Principal Technical Product Manager), responsible for building the Backend Services Technical Product Management function at Tubi from the ground up and help define the future of TV. The backend services teams are critical because the services they build and maintain power Tubi client applications to reliably deliver content and user data at scale. Specific duties include: 1) Provide an interface between client teams (UX PM, Design, Client Engineering) and Backend/Services teams. 2) Translate client team requirements into a comprehensive vision and roadmap. 3) Partner with cross-departmental stakeholders and Backend Services Engineering leadership to define strategy focused on maximizing business impact and velocity of delivery. 4) Address prioritization challenges via data-driven rationale. 5) Define and own data flow and interface requirements for API endpoints, internal applications and client teams. 6) Communicate strategic milestones to stakeholders. 7) Partner with backed/services leadership, using analytics tools to find opportunities for improvement of backend KPI metrics. Telecommuting permitted from any location in the U.S.
Job Requirements:Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of technical product management or related experience in product management and product strategy, including experience in delivering products to market; and managing both technical and business aspects of a product or product line.
Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, plus three (3) years of technical product management or related experience in product management and product strategy, including experience in delivering products to market; and managing both technical and business aspects of a product or product line.
Experience must include two (2) years of experience in end to end product lifecycle management; executing streaming application on mobile and Smart TVs; executing product development within an Agile Software Development framework; and backend services, APIs and data flow between multiple systems to deliver a product functionality
*Specific skills: Also requires experience in the following: 1) Data analysis using tools such as Periscope, Tableau, Countly and Datadog; 2) Market research and competitive analysis; 3) Product roadmapping; and 4) Training internal and external stakeholders on the value and functionality of product
*Any level of experience in the specific skills is acceptable.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $274,206 - $280,000 per year. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k)plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
