Job Duties:

Tubi, Inc. seeks a Computer and Information Systems Manager (Manager, Analytics and Data Product Management), responsible for growing and evolving the centralized data tools and resources for Tubi uses—from warehouse to KPI reporting and dashboards.  Partner with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to help deliver fast accurate reporting and actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels in the company. Specific duties include: 1) Hire, train and develop a team of data professionals to build centralized data tools for Tubi.  2) Take ownership of the data visualization layer and product analytics tools at Tubi to ensure core metrics are easily accessible, accurate, well-defined and easily understood.  3) Build and deliver data roadmap along with multiple business stakeholders across the company to evolve core reporting, analytics and data quality.  4) Establish close working relationships with business stakeholders to understand their strategies, identify opportunities for leveraging data in their operational decision making, translate problems into data requirements, and define clear roadmaps for BI and/or data visualization solutions.  5) Develop strong cross-functional partnerships across the company (Business Operations, Content, Machine Learning, Engineering, Content and Finance) to drive Business Intelligence team's success.  6) Partner with engineering teams to develop data models, pipelines, and tools and in developing cross-functional relationships across the business.  7) Partner with Data Engineering to ensure a fast, accurate and straightforward to use Data Warehouse.  8) Deliver data tools or automation solutions to minimize the extent of ad-hoc requests and necessity for ad-hoc analysis.  9) Synthesize large volumes of data and complex concepts into clear accessible learnings for a broad audience.  10) Be a subject matter expert for all data pipeline and data questions around the product (user retention, registration, conversion, watch time, etc.).  11) Assist various internal stakeholders at Tubi to take their next step with data.  Oversee lower-level subordinates consisting of Product Managers and Product Data Analysts.  Telecommuting is permitted up to 50%/week within normal commuting distance of Tubi, Inc. office in San Francisco, CA.

Job Requirements:

Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field, plus three (3) years of data product management or related data analytics experience, including experience in business intelligence analysis, data analysis and working on ETL and data modeling.

Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of data product management or related data analytics experience, including experience in business intelligence analysis, data analysis and working on ETL and data modeling.

Experience must include two (2) years of experience translating business questions into data-driven insights and data stories; delivering on complex data requests from a variety of business units; and managing cross-functional initiatives across technical and non-technical teams.

*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Experience in ML and A/B testing concepts; 2) Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker and Periscope; 3) Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for data cleaning, analysis and statistical analyses; 4) Experience using SQL to analyze data, build reporting tools, data analysis and diagnose data accuracy issues; and 5) Experience working with data science team, data engineers, product managers and business groups

Telecommuting is permitted up to 50%/week within normal commuting distance of Tubi, Inc. office in San Francisco, CA.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $274,206 - $280,000 per year.  This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k)plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
