Computer Engineer

Our client is seeking a Computer Engineer to support cybersecurity efforts at Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia. The Computer Engineer will be responsible for system administration, secure configuration, and testing of computer systems. Job Responsibilities:

• Experience with Risk Management Framework technical control implementation
• Apply software patches and configuration changes
• Develop, maintain, and update SOPs, security control plans and procedures, and other documentation as required
• Identify and implement improvements to system configuration to maintain secure operations
• Provide SME knowledge of Windows XP, 7, and 10

• Test system to verify operational functionality

Requirements

• Bachelors in Computer or Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Five (5) years of experience in computer networks, system administration or software development

• Experience with Windows OS
• Current DoD Information Assurance Workforce IAT Level 1 (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, or SSCP) certification or higher
• Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly in written and oral presentations
• Required Security Clearance: Active Secret
