Computer Systems Analyst (Automated Tester)

Amentum is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst (Automated Tester) to be responsible for evaluation and testing of software systems in support of the warfighter.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Construct test cases.

• Test and evaluate application code.

• Develop and execute Automated UI testing.

• Coordinate with the development team.

• Assist with software documentation.

• Use aptitude to learn new technical tools required for the role.

• Comply with hardware and software systems standards and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Secret US Government security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain an active Secret clearance.

• High School diploma or GED.

• Minimum 3 years of job-related experience using Computerized System experience, to include: Test and Evaluation, Network Protocols, LAN administration fundamentals, and UNIX and Windows based operating system.

• Knowledge of UI Automated Test.

• Understanding of Automated Testing and performance tools such as Selenium and JMeter.

• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and design solutions to problems in operational software.

• Ability to travel, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

• Software testing certification.

• Current Security+ CE certification.

• Experience with Agile and DevOps or DevSecOps software development practices.

• Experience using at least 1 programming language (i.e. Python, Java, C#, etc.)

• Experience with a distributed version control system, such as Git.

• Experience with containerization technologies (i.e., Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes etc.).

• Experience developing Unit Tests such as MSTets, xUnit, or nUnit.
