Computer Systems Analyst, Mid

Akira Technologies, Inc. is looking for a Mid-Level Computer Systems Analyst to support our government client in analyzing information and trends through in-depth testing to increase system efficiency.

The Computer Systems Analyst will analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex application issues, system issues, or network concerns. This individual will likewise perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations.

This role is mostly remote work with occasional travel in the Washington DC Metro Area.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in developing, maintaining, and continuously improving the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or DevSecOps processes.
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and continuously improving an integrated DevSec Ops data environment.
• ITSM (IT Service Management) and ITOM (IT Operations Management) with tools to implement the DevSec Ops and SDLC processes.
• Working knowledge of ATO and cATO processes, A&A process adhering to the federal cyber security guidelines and controls. 
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Sciences, or related field
• 4-9 years experience in performing system management and integrated functions.
• Experience in leading a team review and improve existing computer systems and capabilities, workflows, ad schedules.
• Experience in analyzing and recommending commercially available software.
• US Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior or current Navy IT systems and project experience.
• Planning, developing, and executing systems engineering and technical reviews.
• Prototype development to implement DevSecOps pipeline.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Architecture.
• Prior experience working for a government contractor
