Computer Vision (DICOM) Developer | About You 

As a Computer Vision (DICOM) Developer, you are at the forefront of innovation, utilizing your expertise in computer vision and medical imaging data. Your role involves designing and implementing solutions that leverage DICOM standards for imaging data, particularly in MRI and CT scans. You have a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology to enhance medical diagnostics and patient care, and your experience in real-world imaging applications will be instrumental in delivering state-of-the-art software solutions. 

Computer Vision (DICOM) Developer | Day-to-Day 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand and define requirements for computer vision applications, particularly focusing on DICOM standards. 
  • Develop, implement, and optimize computer vision algorithms for processing and analyzing medical imaging data, including MRI and CT scans. 
  • Integrate and preprocess DICOM formatted images, ensuring compatibility and compliance with healthcare standards. 
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical professionals to understand the clinical requirements and translate them into technical specifications. 
  • Write production and deployment code, including containerization, to ensure optimal performance of computer vision models. 
  • Conduct continuous research in computer vision and medical imaging, staying abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies. 

Computer Vision (DICOM) Developer | Skills & Experience 

  • Master's or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision solutions for medical imaging, emphasizing DICOM and networking standards. 
  • Proficient in Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch for designing and implementing machine learning models tailored to the specific needs of MRI data analysis. 
  • Experience troubleshooting DICOM devices and hospital networks. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical professionals and software engineers, to define and understand the requirements and objectives of image processing projects. 
  • Design, build, and optimize machine learning models for accurate and reliable results, conducting thorough analysis and interpretation of outputs to support clinical decision-making and research initiatives. 
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and self-motivated with a continuous drive to learn and explore advancements in computer vision and medical imaging. 
  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards (HL7, FHIR) and workflows is a bonus.
