Concept Artist (Illustration)

We are looking for a experienced Concept Artist to be a part of our Art team and help make fantastic games! We are looking for an Illustrative Concept Artist who can help drive the look and design for our cards, banners and other artwork shown in the user interface. You will help define the visual language for a variety of illustrative work in the game. We’re looking for a dynamic candidate who can thrive in a collaborative and iterative environment that is focused on pushing the boundaries of our genre to the next level. This position will report to the Creative Director.

• Create high quality illustrations for Cards, Banners, and UI and Marketing assets
• Work closely with Art Director and other artist to maintain artistic cohesion across all illustrative concepts and final assets
• Collaborate across multiple art disciplines and outsourcing to take the concepts to final
•  Collaborate with Marketing and Community to help define visual language for a variety of illustrative work in and around the game. 
•  Communicate effectively with the team to fulfill the game's visual goals

•  Stunning portfolio clearly demonstrating expertise in Illustrative work.
• Strong sense of visual design - including form, perspective, materials, and lighting
• High proficiency in 2D art creation/manipulation packages, including but not limited to Photoshop
• Proficiency in 3D packages
• Familiarity with current and future trends with regard to creating game assets
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong autonomy, and ability to maintain high quality and consistent progress
• Attention to detail and creative problem solving

• Ability to concept a variety of subjects and styles of execution
• Cards, Banners and Illustrations for game development
•  Shipped one or more AAA titles on multiple platforms

The estimated base pay range for this role is:

$82,000—$140,000 USD
