We’re looking for a passionate Concept Designer to research and visualize ideas of new AR experiences for Snap strategic partners. Working from the Paris office, you’ll work in close collaboration with colleagues in Partnership, 3D, VFX, Creative Engineers, Lens Studio in addition to various other Snap teams around the world to deliver the best AR experiences to our strategic partners and snapchat users. Ideal candidates for this role will have an extensive understanding and interest in concepts/deliverables as well as generate high-impact and innovative results. 

What you’ll do:

• Come up with ideas for new lenses

• You will be engaged in the development and growing lenses community by participating in partner programs designed for educational establishments, community creators, agencies etc.

• Visualise ideas in 2D ( Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator) 

• Communicate with different departments regarding lens production process

• Provide art direction support during entire lens production process

• Develop creative solutions and ideas for AR related projects as well as creative ways of different new tech implementations

• Participate in brainstorms

• Learn how to use Lens Studio

• Be open to giving and receiving feedback

Minimum qualifications:

• Advanced 2D drawing skills

• Advanced art direction skills

• Ability to speak and write in English and French fluently

• 2+ years experience in design

• Strong portfolio

Preferred qualifications:

• Briefing skills

• Presentation skills

• Passion for Snapchat

• Ability to offer creative solutions based on analytic /market and research data

• Experience of collaboration with 3D and VFX departments (understanding of technical aspects)

• Knowledge of at least one tool besides PS (After Effects, Maya, Cinema 4D, etc.)

• Ability to work with not clear briefs (or frequently changing)

• Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently

• A self-starter, collaborator and team player
