Concrete Polisher/Epoxy Flooring Technician

Job Description: We are seeking skilled and experienced Concrete Grinding Polishers and Epoxy Flooring Technicians to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in flooring installation and finishing, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities: • Concrete Grinding and Polishing: • Perform edge grinding using hand grinders. • Operate planetary grinders efficiently. • Select and apply appropriate diamond grits to achieve desired sheen levels. • Epoxy Flooring Installation: • Mix and apply epoxy coatings, adhering to correct mix ratios. • Calculate and manage spread rates of materials. • Apply epoxy cove base accurately. • General Duties: • Follow detailed task directions from the superintendent and project manager. • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. • Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and safety. • Adhere to all safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications: • Experience: • Minimum of 1 year of experience with concrete grinding and/or epoxy coatings. • Familiarity with cementitious overlays and waterproof deck coatings is a plus. • Skills and Abilities: • Ability to interpret and execute work instructions accurately. • Strong understanding of flooring installation techniques and materials. • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical stamina. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Requirements: • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends as needed. • Ability to travel out of town for projects (travel reimbursement available). • Own PPE: boots, hard hat, safety vest, gloves, and safety glasses. Work Schedule: • Typical Start Time:7:00 AM • Typical End Time:4:00 PM • Work Environment:On-site at various construction projects; not a remote position.
