Condition Monitoring Advisors (CMAs) in Caterpillar's Electric Power Condition Monitoring Center monitor the (5) elements of Condition Monitoring (Electronic data, S• O• SSM fluid analysis, PM Inspection, repair history and site conditions) to provide relevant Condition Monitoring Insights as indicated by the data:
This includes the following essential duties and responsibilities:
• Provide Condition Monitoring support for approximately 1,000-1,500 assets across 10-15 Cat dealers globally.
• Aggregate and correlate the five elements of condition monitoring, where all are available.
• Provides operational and repair recommendations to Caterpillar dealers and their customers utilizing Cat Foresight and other enabling condition monitoring software tools & systems to prioritize and analyze condition monitoring data inputs.
• Provides Condition Monitoring Insights for Prioritized Service Event lead tracking and resolution.
• Leads routine Cat dealer discussions to manage and close out condition monitoring leads.
• Maintains working knowledge for each of the five condition monitoring elements with subject matter expertise in at least 1 element.
• Builds collaborative relationships & acts as a consultant with equipment management personnel.
JOB PURPOSE:
Condition Monitoring Advisors provide Condition Monitoring Insights to help customers lower owning and operating costs, improve availability, and reduce warranty costs. These Insights improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, increase enterprise market share, and grow parts and service sales, while reducing the customer's costs through equipment management.
