The Conference & Event Specialist will join one of the most well-regarded and passionate event teams in the financial industry - a team that has a great regard for the value of creating incredible experiences for customers, partners and employees. This position will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, planning and successful execution of a variety of external and internal events, virtual, hybrid and in-person, to drive sales of nCino's product, strengthen brand awareness and position nCino as a thought leader in the financial services industry. Reporting to nCino's Manager of Conferences and Events, this person will be a core part of the Conference and Event Team and provide strategic support and manage event preparation for both internal and external stakeholders. This individual should be able to understand the big picture while still executing on important details. The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic professional with a passion for event management who possesses strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills and is able to multi-task and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
• Help manage and execute nCino hosted events (i.e nSight, nCino's annual user conference, customer forums, executive meetings, etc.), including owning the run of show, building agenda and working with internal and external stakeholders to prepare presentation or content materials, vendor management, identifying and securing venues, managing all event contracts and budgets, and coordinating food and beverage, meeting space and A/V requirements.
• Help manage and execute nCino's internal events for over 1,800 global employees (i.e Company Kickoff, Leadership Summit, etc.), including owning the run of show, building agenda and working with internal stakeholders to prepare presentation or content materials, vendor management, identifying and securing venues, managing all event contracts and budgets, and coordinating food and beverage, meeting space and A/V requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the events strategy is aligned to key goals and priorities and that agendas, messaging and content are developed and executed for maximum impact.
• Lead onsite management at events, including proper set-up and signage, registration coordination, speaker and session management, and staff enablement and training.
• Handle conference and event travel and accommodation needs and assist with other marketing and event administrative functions as needed.
• Serve as key point of contact for internal employee questions regarding nCino events and conferences.
• Drive event-related planning meetings and post-meeting action item follow up.
• Ensure conference and event ROI is captured through Salesforce campaigns.

Qualifications

Required:
• 3-4 years' relevant experience in a corporate event planning role.
• Experience managing a variety of corporate events, including large-scale (1,000+ attendee) conferences, leading aspects of venue management, speaker and content preparation and on-site execution.
• Experience with B2B event marketing.
• Ability to plan hybrid or virtual events, with knowledge of what it takes online and off, including the latest tools, platforms and technologies to bring the specific event vision to life.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with numerous stakeholders simultaneously.
• Able to build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders across organizations to meet business goals through events and conferences.
• Proven self-starter and quick learner.
• Track record of thriving in a fast-paced, high-energy environment with a consistent CAN-DO attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
