Title: Configuration Analyst

Position Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data)

Location: Louisville, CO

About the role: We are looking a Configuration Analyst that will support one of the following programs:

• INCUS: NASA has selected Tendeg to deliver four Ka-band deployable antennas for a new Earth science mission called Investigation of Convective Updrafts (INCUS) that will study the behavior of tropical storms and thunderstorms, including their impacts on weather and climate models. https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/nasa-selects-new-mission- to-study-storms-impacts-on-climate-models.
• SDC: NASA has selected Tendeg to develop a large rectangular aperture deployable antenna for a Surface Deformation and Change mission. Tendeg completed TRL-6 testing of the baseline antenna, which is 7x1.4m and operates at C-band and is studying a 12x2m configuration at L-band. https://science.nasa.gov/earth-science/decadal-sdc.
• 2-axis Gimbal Antennas: Tendeg has multiple contracts to develop, fabricate, test and deliver flight units for deployable high gain antennas from X-band to Q/V-band. These are for sensor and communication missions for LEO to lunar applications.

What you'll do:

• Program management and leadership for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) systems implementation.
• Manage day-to-day support for ERP, PLM, and PDM activities in an engineering and manufacturing focused operations.
• Ensure proper baseline identification of configuration items, conduct periodic audits, and provide verification of version release configuration items.
• Maintain status accounting records to ensure accurate determination of current and historical configurations of products throughout the product lifecycle.
• Track all problems and changes in product documents and report changes and the current configuration.
• Work with IT Systems administration and application vendors to provide maximum uptime and service to end users.
• Perform a variety of project tasks and requires good communications skills with the ability to work with users diplomatically and skillfully.
• Provide training and support for end-users.
• Prepare technical and training manuals.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

Key job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems, or another technically relevant degree.
• Minimum of 7 years experience working in software system development and sustainment as a software developer, CM Specialist, or CM systems administrator.
• Experience designing and managing a configuration management database. Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience utilizing a CM Tool that supports an enterprise CM framework (e.g., version control, third-party version control support, code migrations, file merging, branching, custom reports generation, impact analysis, software integrations, rollback capabilities, etc.) as well as tool administration and configuration.
• Knowledge of enterprise-level applications, including ERP, CRM, PLM, PDM, etc.

Desired Experience

• Familiarity with third-party applications and any custom-developed code.
• Experience working with Solidworks PDM, Duro PLM, and Global Shop Solutions ERP.
• Experience working in a highly regulated engineering environment like aerospace, defense, or other.
• Experience in managing development and delivery of multiple overlapping releases.
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a production and/or development environment.
• Familiarity with risk and issue management.
