ADTRAV is seeking a Configuration Analyst that is responsible for designing and maintaining ADTRAV and third-party software systems to include but not limited to RezDesk, Concur, Deem and GetThere. In addition to product support and design, the configuration analyst is required to be both a client-facing and organizational subject matter expert. This position is responsible for bringing business and information technology together by understanding the needs and limitations of both and by working collaboratively to grow individual and team skills and abilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Serve as subject matter expert in consultation and decision-making during implementations. This includes configuration and customization of new accounts and ensuring customer requirements are implemented with quality and accuracy.
- Configure online booking tools (e.g., Concur, Deem and GetThere), profile systems, mobile applications, and internal proprietary products in a global environment, for new requests, changes to products, and conversions.
- Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product, system, and optimize user experience.
- Assess escalated online issues, troubleshoot, research, and diagnose.
- Review and recommend system improvements for optimization and supporting configuration change requests.
- Act as a go-between with management, development, and the customer.
- Perform site demos or training as needed or when assigned by manager.
- Manage and resolve JIRA ticket cases.
- Create and execute test plans.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and participating in professional training.
- Become an expert in ADTRAV's software, industry and customer base.
- Represent ADTRAV by embracing the company values and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required.
- At least 3 years of travel industry experience is required, including knowledge of industry policies, procedures, and processes. Experience working for a travel management or travel technology company a plus.
- 5+ years of experience with Concur and Sabre.
- 2+ years of experience with Deem and GetThere.
- Experience with Amadeus and mobile products preferred.
- Experience writing PNR Editor strings required.
- SQL Certification with demonstrated ability to manipulate data and build queries that communicate with more than one table.
- Ability to interpret complex information from various sources and able to decide the best way to move forward on a project.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven troubleshooting skills.
- Technical writing skills a plus.
- Experience creating test plans preferred.
- Able to communicate complex technical concepts and terms to a non-tech savvy audience.
- Ability to learn ADTRAV's business and products quickly and adapt to a dynamic development environment.
- Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira.
- Highly self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines requiring minimal supervision.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment while balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- "Can do" problem solving mentality, while still respecting standards, quality, and security.
- Able to present a professional and positive demeanor with internal and external customers/clients and work cooperatively.
- Ability to work remotely and meet the company home-office requirements.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of company and client information.
- Able to successfully pass a credit, criminal, and/or employment reference background check.
