Configuration Architect

The Configuration Architect role will be responsible for the overall development and design approach in the implementation and maintenance of configuration in CDPHP's core applications to support CDPHP's strategic initiatives. They will direct the configuration and management of CDPHP's core application and will work closely with the Configuration team, IT teams and business areas to define, design and implement new initiatives and opportunities within Configuration. This position will also serve as the primary liaison between Configuration and the other areas within CDPHP including Enterprise Architecture, Information Technology and key business areas to ensure that the configuration strategy and roadmap meets client business objectives and contribute to CDPHP's overall business value to clients.

This individual works directly with Configuration Management and Enterprise Architecture team members to develop implement and monitor the overall design and approach to maintaining our configuration in support of CDPHP's strategic and day to day initiatives. They provide support and produce the deliverable strategy and roadmap associated with design and implementation during the lifecycle of a strategic initiative. The deliverable includes but not constrained to the solutions architecture, technical architectural diagrams, architecture and design review documents. The architect participates in the overall design review process and ensures recommendations made are understood by the recipients and are monitored during the project life cycle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree required. Seven (7) years relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
• Minimum seven (7) years of configuration or business analysis or experience that includes: evaluation of business procedures and problems, feasibility studies, system analysis, configuration design, specification documentation, system configuration, systems testing in support of the development and implementation of large-scale business applications is required. Ten (10) years preferred.

• A minimum of six (6) years of experience in healthcare programs, processes, and experience working with internal departments and external vendors is required.
• Six (6) years of business application management experience performing application design and development tasks is required.
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in configuration within the Facets Application is required.
• Two (2) years' experience at the Configuration Analyst III level or equivalent role is preferred.
• Experience in Large Scale IT system implementations or management of multiple integrated applications is required.
• Experience in applying relational database concepts and techniques are required. Lead or management experience preferred.
• Experience in documenting and modeling of functional and technical specifications, requirements and verification of project deliverables is preferred.
• Experience acting as a knowledge expert in cross-functional configuration lead for projects or company initiatives is required.
