The Extravehicular Activity and Human Surface Mobility Program (EHP) Lunar Terrain Vehicle (LTV) Project Office at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) is responsible for the definition, development, and implementation of the Lunar Terrain Vehicle in support of the Artemis architecture.
This position is on-site in Houston, TX.
This position is available as a Member of Technical Staff
What You'll be Doing
- Provide Configuration and Management (CM) and Procurement support to the LTV Project.
- Serve as Recorder for the LTV Source Evaluation Board (SEB), including capturing minutes and safeguarding SEB proceedings and documentation.
- Responsible for logistical support and recordkeeping of SEB activities.
- Provide expertise in the planning, coordination, execution, and audit/verification of and CM processes, and support to product development by the LTV SEB.
- Perform identification, problem solving, and resolution of CM issues as related to LTV SEB activities.
- Serve as site administrator for LTV SharePoint.
- Implement procedures for controlling access to procurement sensitive data.
- Develop Integration plans to link processes, milestones, forums, and action item management.
- Perform technical Document Quality Assurance (DQA).
- Ensure all data and records are accurate and timely archived via the EHP systems.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- 2 years of CM experience with NASA programs
- Knowledge of CM/DM standards and principles
- Experience with editing, formatting, and other document management functions in Microsoft Word
- Ability to work within a team environment, where the team is distributed across multiple NASA Organizations, Projects, and Programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Travel is not required.
