Configuration Management - Cybersecurity

Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, has a new and exciting opportunity to add a Configuration Management - Cybersecurityposition to our team in Huntsville, AL. The candidate will be part of a team working to implement best practices and procedures for configuration and management tailored toward cybersecurity efforts.

Responsibilities and areas of support include but are not limited to:

• Perform and support Configuration Management (CM) activities for information hardware and software
• Perform CM activities for configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits
• Utilize automated tools provided by the Government to maintain hardware information that addresses the manufacturer, type, model, machine name, product description, version, Internet Protocol (IP) Address, Mission Assurance Category (MAC), location, operating system, and status
• Utilize automated tools provided by the Government to maintain software information that addresses the software product name, version, type, and licensing status
• Support the Security Focused CM requirements for all information system activities to ensure all changes to an accredited system are documented in the RMF accreditation package
• Work with the security team to identify, fix, and provide information regarding resolving vulnerabilities, and computer incidents
• Provide backup security team responsibilities, including but not limited to, end of day checks, maintaining security forms for doors and security containers, and assisting with security inspections when needed
• Assist with inventory and logging of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) when needed.

Job Requirements

• Associates Degree or Higher in STEM or related technical field and 3 years experience
• 0-2 yearsexperience with cybersecurity
• Security+ Certification
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
