Configuration Manager (CM)

Essential Functions:

• The Aircraft Configuration Manager will report to the Director of Engineering and be responsible for establishing and maintaining a configuration control program for multiple aircraft platforms
• Utilize software tools to incorporate engineering designs, changes, and analysis of aircraft into the configuration baselines
• Translating to approved aircraft baseline configuration documentation for production and maintenance
• Verify and ensure the adherence of aircraft products to approved aircraft configuration per Program Manager guidance
• Manages the engineering change process and workflow (redlines, change notices, etc)
• Provide Configuration Management leadership and technical judgment to other production and operations divisions and personnel as necessary
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education:

• 5+ years relevant experience working with engineering drawings and analysis as well as other technical data
• 5+ years relevant experience in a data management, configuration management, manufacturing, planning, or quality role in a change control environment
• 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience desired (DOD experience preferred)
• Must be able to work in the following environmental conditions: noise, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, chemicals, odor, and dust
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance at a minimum, U.S. Citizenship required
