Job Description

Simple Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Confluence Administrator  to add to our team.

Quick Position Overview:

  • US Citizenship is required
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 7 years' position related experience, 3 years Confluence experience

The Role: As a Confluence Administrator with Simple Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and overall performance of the Jira and Confluence systems. 


The Confluence Administrator at STS will: 

  • Install, configure, and maintain Atlassian JIRA/Confluence 
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix issues related to development, applications, application servers
  • Cloud implementation of Atlassian tools
  • Migrate incidents and workflows from multiple existing tools to JIRA 
  • Recommend and design standard and custom JIRA workflows 
  • Install, manage, and support various development tools, testing tools, and monitoring tools 
  • Plan, evaluate, deploy, operate and maintain tools to suit the expanding user-base 
  • Document standards, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for admins/users of the system

Experience and Education: 

  • US Citizenship
  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 7 years' position related experience, 3 years experience with Confluence 
  • Experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemas, complex workflows, screen, permission, and notification schemes 
  • Experience in implementing new services and systems in conjunction with a development team
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills
