Confluence Administrator
Job Description
Simple Technology Solutions (STS) is looking for a Confluence Administrator to add to our team.
Quick Position Overview:
- US Citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 7 years' position related experience, 3 years Confluence experience
The Role: As a Confluence Administrator with Simple Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability and overall performance of the Jira and Confluence systems.
The Confluence Administrator at STS will:
- Install, configure, and maintain Atlassian JIRA/Confluence
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and fix issues related to development, applications, application servers
- Cloud implementation of Atlassian tools
- Migrate incidents and workflows from multiple existing tools to JIRA
- Recommend and design standard and custom JIRA workflows
- Install, manage, and support various development tools, testing tools, and monitoring tools
- Plan, evaluate, deploy, operate and maintain tools to suit the expanding user-base
- Document standards, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for admins/users of the system
Experience and Education:
- US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree is required
- 7 years' position related experience, 3 years experience with Confluence
- Experience customizing JIRA projects with various schemas, complex workflows, screen, permission, and notification schemes
- Experience in implementing new services and systems in conjunction with a development team
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
