We are looking for an Connected Enterprise Specialist who will be responsible for Connected Enterprise systems and project deployment lead for one of Rockwell Automation's premiere manufacturing plants.

Position Summary

Analyzes business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. Provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing Industry 4.0 projects impacting multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Managing the deployment of new technical solutions by setting timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, conducting the implementation, leading change management and overseeing the post-deployment hypercare.
• Enabling manufacturing operations through daily support of MES & IoT systems.
• Serving as a technical expert on cross-functional teams, advising teams on new product launches, configuring new production lines, and improving processes.
• Engaging with stakeholders in manufacturing plant to discover and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement of the Connected Enterprise.
• Prioritizing opportunities and creating a roadmap for the site's digital transformation.
• Promoting global technology and process standards across manufacturing locations.
• Liaising with technical build teams to communicate business requirements of project proposals and to test solutions prior to deployment.
• Training operations personnel on new systems to ensure redundancy of critical skillsets.
• Assisting with support to multiple Rockwell Automation facilities.
• Some off-hours support may be required depending on project work.

• Hands-on experience in utilizing a digital manufacturing solution portfolio that delivers strong business values and productivities.
• Must have a passion for automated and comprehensive knowledge of testing with solid problem solving/troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on Experience working with Rockwell MES & IoT Platforms.
• Capable of communicating effectively across functional areas and at multiple levels of the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 4-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, OR
• 2-year Engineering Technology Degree plus 5+ years manufacturing experience, OR
• 10+ years manufacturing experience in technical and leadership roles
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Rockwell Automation & PTC MES/IoT software.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
