Construction Craft Laborer

Summary Description: The Construction Craft Laborer will be assigned varied duties based on project needs. They will be responsible for assisting with delivery of tools/equipment/supplies to area jobsites in a timely manner. They must be able to work with equipment operators and confirm hand signals to be used. They will be required to do manual labor shovel, pull wire, install burial tape etc., as necessary. They must also beproficient with a variety of tools and equipment used in Construction. Laborer Job Responsibilities: • Provide support to the crew lead of the installation team • Organize Tools, Equipment, & Material in Laydown • Ensure safe work practices. • Assist with equipment/material check outs • Assist in taking inventory. • Will be required to take tools/material to field personnel. • Ensure safe work practices. • Attending mandatory training sessions on installation methodology and safety. • Works collaboratively with installers, crew leads, supervisors, superintendents, and managers. • Clean up of job site. • Attends meetings • Other duties as assigned Competencies • Accountable • Self-motivated • Detailed oriented • Self-starter • Team player Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)+ • Strong communication skills • Willing to do labor intensive work • 1 + yrs. experience with the safe use of hand-held and power tools • Ability to pass background checks, pre-employment, and random drug screenings. • Insurability, must have clean driving record, and valid drivers’ license preferred
