Construction Framer Carpenter

POSITION OVERVIEW: Axiom Design Build is looking for an experienced Framer/Carpenter,a skilled and driven professional with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in production framing. Strong knowledge of construction safety, methods, and best practices is essential. The ideal candidate is a problem solver, hard worker, and dedicated craftsperson who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. REPORTS TO:Superintendent; with oversight from Director of Production as appropriate EXPECTED SKILLS: • In-depth knowledge of framing and carpentry with 3–5 years of hands-on experience • High level of expertise in framing, with both speed and quality • Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural plans • Ability to work efficiently and safely • Consistent punctuality and readiness for work • Remodel framing and general carpentry experience KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship in all carpentry work • Perform work in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards • Coordinate daily tasks to stay on schedule and meet client expectations • Collaborate with teams of carpenters and other laborers • Maintain productivity and meet daily production goals • Perform material take-offs and framing layouts • Implement best practices and industry-standard construction methods • Communicate consistently and professionally with team and leadership • Provide positive mentorship and direction to laborers and peers • Help empower the team to exceed expectations for quality and craftsmanship • Be an outstanding example of company culture within the surrounding community through both attitude and job performance • Represent Axiom in a professional manner, including appearance, demeanor, and attitude QUALIFICATIONS: • Must pass a background check • 3+ years of framing experience • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance COMPENSATION: Full-time, hourly position.
