Construction Laborer

He purchased his first gas-powered diamond saw, which allowed him to carry out concrete work with accuracy and speed. Penhall has since grown to offer a comprehensive selection of concrete services, including scanning, cutting, sawing, breaking, and removal. Job Description:Assist concrete cutting operator on daily basis. Ability to remove concrete & asphalt with burke bar-2-wheel dolly or jackhammer • Interior demolition, removing drywall, metal, or wood stud walls, drop ceilings, old plumbing pipes and electrical conduit. • Work with crews or independently on jobs. • Pass a required pre-employment drug screen. • Pass a pre-employment background. • Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving history. • Ability to work dayshift and some nights & weekends or out of town if necessary • Must have reliable transportation. • Must have steel toe leather work boots. • Must be able to read job tickets, safety plans & fill out job safety pre-task plans • Communication understanding is key. • must be able to communicate clearly with dispatch & supervisors. • Travel: • May be subject to some short periods of out-of-town work on occasion if needed. Specific Role Responsibilities: • Preferred 1-2 year s of experience working in construction. • Safety Oriented ! • Willing to work up to 12 hour shifts. • Dependable & reliable • Ability to work well with others. • Willing to learn to operate other power tools. • Must be a ble to lift & move 45lbs or more • Must be able to w ork in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain) Penhall Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
