Construction Project Manager

Title: Construction Project Manager
Base Location:Â Support Center in Chelsea, New York City - Hybrid (2 days/week in office)
Travel: Required approximately 20% of the time – ability to travel in predetermined zones in the US
Manager: Senior Director of Capital Projects
About the Role:
Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we’re looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team.
The Construction Project Manager will help drive the build-out process of new clinic locations to support Bond Vet’s rapid growth. You must have strong project management skills ideally with experience in retail roll out work nationwide. This role will report into the Senior Director of Capital Projects.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct site evaluations/survey visits of new store locations as required
- Review and incorporate Landlord requirements and lease agreements
- Review architectural drawings prior to permit submission and bidding to ensure accurate and up to date design specifications
- Prepare preliminary construction schedule and budgets based on project and lease requirements
- Review Landlord work and delivery condition prior in coordination with the Real Estate team
- Coordinate project bid process, review, qualify and awarding of projects
- Manage coordination with Procurement team and vendors/contractors
- Monitor construction progress via weekly OAC meetings and multiple site visits during the course of project timeline
- Oversee and coordinate turnover process, including all punch list responsibility, to operations, ensuring all items complete
- Recap and distribute site visit audit and documentation
- Facilitate close out of project paperwork, receipt of any Tenant Allowance within target timelines
Skills of this role include:
- High level written and oral communication skillsÂ
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Risk and critical path management
- Problem solving in the office and in the fieldÂ
- Negotiation skillsÂ
- Strong knowledge of Google Suite. Ability to learn and use technology as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related area
- Minimum 5-7 years retail construction management experience in national retail roll-out; experience in food and beverage, healthcare or high-end luxury is preferred

Compensation will fall between $85,000 - $115,000 annually based on experience
