Construction Project Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage various construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective project coordination, time management, and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the project. Responsibilities • Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. • Develop project plans, timelines, and schedules while coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors. • Utilize software tools such as Prolog, HeavyBid, ProCore, and other project management applications to track progress and manage resources. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure compliance with design specifications. • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues that arise during construction. • Prepare detailed construction estimates and budgets while ensuring adherence to safety regulations. • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members through effective communication and collaboration. • Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. Qualifications • Proven experience in construction management or project management within the construction industry. • Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies. • Proficiency in using construction management software such as Prolog, HeavyBid, ProCore, or similar tools. • Excellent blueprint reading skills along with the ability to interpret schematics accurately. • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of project coordination. • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams while demonstrating leadership qualities. • Knowledge of construction estimating practices is highly desirable.
