Product Engineer

As an Product Engineer at rocket code, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative and high-quality software solutions. This role requires a blend of technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and company standards.

Responsibilities:

Product Development and Maintenance:

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions that align with business requirements.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and implementation.

-Actively participate in discussions with the software development team, designers, and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and translate them into User Stories.

Systems Integration:

- Implement and manage the integration of SAP with other enterprise systems.

- Ensure that SAP solutions integrate seamlessly with existing processes and systems.

Process Optimization:

- Analyze current processes and propose improvements to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of SAP solutions.

- Make adjustments and configurations in SAP to improve performance and usability.

-Translate customers' conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear and understandable manner for developers.

Technical Support and Problem Resolution:

- Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex issues related to SAP.

- Collaborate with the support team to ensure that issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.

-Communicate product status, issues, and risks effectively and proactively to stakeholders.

-Ensure excellent Quality Assurance processes.

Training and Documentation:

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation and user manuals.

- Provide training and support to end-users and team members on SAP functionalities.

-Develop accurate and comprehensive documentation of product functionalities, including technical specifications, flowcharts, and use cases to guide development and ensure consistency in implementation.

Critical Thinking and Creativity:

- Ability to think critically and creatively to find innovative solutions to technical and business challenges.

Adaptability and Flexibility:

- Ability to adapt to new environments and technologies, and to handle changes in project or business requirements.

SAP Configurations:

- Experience in integrating SAP with other systems (e.g., using SAP PI/PO or APIs).

-Experience as an expert in:

• ABAP (Advanced Business Application Programming)
• SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration)
• APIs (para integración de sistemas)

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

- Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.

- Skill in performing root cause analysis and efficiently resolving technical problems.

Communication and Collaboration:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including end-users, managers, and technical teams.

- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different departments to achieve common goals.

-Clearly express customer needs, understand feature designs to inform development, and evaluate how the feature meets customer and business needs to make decisions about the features.

-Experience working in an organization focused on software development using agile scrum methodology.

-Proficiency in English.

Desirable:

1. Understanding of technology architecture.
2. Understanding of microservices / integrations architecture.
3. Familiarity with cloud solutions.
4. Knowledge of database structures and technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, SQL.
5. Passion for creating solutions that our users love using AI.

Education and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
2. Experience in developing digital products, from conceptualization, estimates, to construction and follow-up.
3. Extensive understanding of digital tools.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Proficient in digital tools such as OpenAI, Claude, Google Analytics, Google Suite, and project management tools (Notion).
