Consultant - Performance Testing

Infosys is seeking a Consultant with Performance Testing and Engineering.

As a Performance Testing and Engineering consultant, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the performance of existing systems. You will conduct non functional requirement analysis, define performance test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior performance. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 4 years of Information Technology experience
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Basking Ridge, NJ or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US and Canada
• 4 years of good experience in Performance Testing in creating Performance Test Strategy, Test scenarios and Test cases with hands on technical knowledge.
• Strong scripting skills with Load Runner and Jmeter.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and AppDynamics
• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in understanding application architecture
• Knowledge of Performance trouble shooting (heap dump & thread dump analysis)
• Knowledge of Automation tools like Selenium
• Very good understanding of the Software Test life cycle activities through practice in multiple Projects.
• Working knowledge of Java
• Analytical and Communication skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
