Job Description

Consultant, Securities Processing
The successful candidate supports activities to facilitate the timely and accurate initiation and settlement of domestic and global securities for our custodial clients.
Primary responsibilities:
• Monitor:
o Workflow for a team of analysts.
o Trade initiation
o DTC/FED pre-settlement activity
o Trade failure management
o Trade exception resolution and reconciliation
• Internal/external communication with various Asset Servicing partners and Investment Managers/Brokers.
• Participation in working groups and independent project work.
Knowledge/Skills
• College/University degree and/or relevant industry work experience is preferred.
• Two or more years of Securities Operations experience is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Industry knowledge of Financial Instruments, Asset Servicing business, and Regulatory mandates is preferred.
• Ability to effectively perform in a multi-tasking environment to ensure critical deadlines is met.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Analytical and problem solving skills are required.
• Prioritize assignments and escalate when needed.
• Ability to identify automation opportunities to improve effectiveness across functions.
• Ability to provide coverage on bank holidays when necessary
