Job Description
Consultants for Chicago, IL location. Independently utilize statistical techniques and insurance business knowledge to create predictive models to address business objectives and client needs. Collaborate with internal and external cross functional teams to deliver business strategic analysis. Act as subject matter expert to identify strategies and opportunities for customers to test and adopt analytical products and services. Generate statistical software applications involving descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analysis through use of a variety of statistical techniques, including segmentation, logistic regression, survival analysis, principal component analysis, Monte Carlo simulation, scenario and sensitivity analysis, and machine learning. Extract data and perform segmentation and statistical analyses on large population datasets, in a technical environment including R, SAS, SQL, and Python. Build and enhance large population industry database. Support team technological development.
Job Requirements
Master's degree in Statistics or related field plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or in data analytics required. Skills Required: R, SAS, SQL, Python. 20% travel required. 40% telecommuting permitted.
