Description

We are looking for the next fearless leader at Artemetrx that will ignite passion, innovation, and client focus on a team committed to delivering the next generation of drug management tools to the market. The Sr. Consulting Analyst is a role that provides analytics support for internal business and client needs for PSG and Artemetrx. The analyst will develop and/or maintain expert knowledge of the rapidly changing healthcare marketplace, the pharmacy benefits management industry, and the overall drug management industry. The analyst role is essential to gain insight into a client’s business problem to be solved and to formulate a data-driven approach to solve the problem. The analyst will present fact-based business intelligence necessary to make informed decisions on their key health care strategies.


The Sr Consulting Analyst is a client facing role and responsible for communicating complex analytical findings and conclusions. The role will support specific client engagements on an ongoing basis. The analyst will manage projects and tasks and will communicate with clients and stakeholders. The analyst will provide a strong link between customers and the development team, gather and document requirements, create SQL queries to pull and perform analysis of data and conduct impact assessments and recommend solutions while staying current with industry trends.


Additional Responsibilities Include:


  • Partnering with consultants and clients to evaluate and identify cost and utilization trends and experience.
  • Discover insights that benefit clinical care and health outcomes in patients, as well as influence clients’ strategy.
  • Assist in determining and monitoring of quality measures for reporting and analytics processes.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams of technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver insights through reports, visualizations, dashboards, and other mediums
  • Handling on-site or teleconferenced presentations as an individual or team, and written documents for assigned clients.
  • Assist with the development of predictive modeling processes at the project and product level.
  • Develop clean, reusable, and testable analytical code and make use of existing data team libraries and modules.
  • Identify opportunities in the development of new capabilities that increase the value added to our clients.
  • Responsible for the design, analysis, development and testing of custom ad hoc or standard reports to support effective and rapid decision making.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert for Data and Analytics projects and work products.
  • Provides mentorship, guidance, and leadership to other analysts and teams as needed.

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing, modeling, and manipulating Healthcare (pharmacy/PBM and/or medical) data required.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy data, PBM industry, medical procedures, health conditions, and provider practices.
  • Working knowledge of database applications, including extraction and querying skills. Proficient using SQL to extract data. SAS experience is a plus.
  • Experience maintaining business intelligence tools (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing raw data, with ability to think logically and process sequentially with a high level of detailed accuracy.

  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and discipline to multitask and prioritize projects to meet scheduled deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team setting with individuals having diverse professional backgrounds including business, technical and/or clinical
  • Professionally interact with a diverse group of stakeholders including executives, managers, clients, and subject matter experts both technical and non-technical.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Analytics/Informatics, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Financial Discipline preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (advanced knowledge in Excel a plus).
  • Ability for some travel (up to 10%).

Salary and Benefits

The national average salary for this role is $90k - $120k in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
