Core One is seeking an Entry-level Consulting Associate to support our Client Strategy Team. Must be eager to be part of a fast-growing company with access to top level executives and senior experts in the industry. The ideal candidate is an energetic and motivated team player who will thrive in an unstructured, entrepreneurial environment and wants to directly impact the growth and success of our organization. The position start date is summer of 2023.

**This position is onsite at our Sterling, VA office

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the building and development of strategic capture and outreach plans
• Use creativity and critical thinking to solve problems for clients
• Perform various capture and proposal services, such as analyzing solicitations, determining proposal requirements, developing the response strategy, and submitting a compliant, responsive proposal along with writing, tailoring, and editing content
• Assist with market analysis and operational support related to growth and client strategy
• Contribute to growth analysis with assistance on financial modeling around pipeline sizing, growth forecasts, and revenue projections
• Write and edit research reports, management consulting studies, white papers, and contract proposals
• Maintain courteous, professional, and effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
• Be a crucial member of the team in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Work directly with management and executive teams on projects, proposals, and company growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in the Social Sciences, Business, or a related field
• Outstanding academic record and a GPA of 3.4 or higher
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued Security Clearance
• Exceptional writing and communication skills
• Competitive, energetic, and motivated to exceed personal and established goals 
• Attention to detail
• Demonstrated interest in National Security
• Excellent critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills and ability to learn new software programs quickly
