Job Overview
We seek a Consulting Associate with experience in deploying the Tanium endpoint management and cyber security platform to join our Boston, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Toronto, or Washington, D.C. office. Consulting Associate responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Assist clients and CRA cyber incident response professionals with deploying the Tanium platform;
- Conduct proactive cyber security services, including security hygiene reviews, compromise discovery assessments, and tactical cybersecurity gap assessments, leveraging data gathered from the Tanium platform;
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the customization and technical enablement of the Tanium platform
- Improve the client experience by documenting best practices; leading training sessions; and driving innovation;
- Present, demonstrate, deploy, operationalize, and extend the Tanium platform;
- Create and develop client deliverables summarizing our findings and recommendations;
- Manage the growth and professional development of junior staff members;
- Assist with practice-wide recruiting and training efforts.
Qualifications
- Earned Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
- 4+ years of experience consulting on information technology and cyber security matters with proven project management and technical skills
- Experience with the Tanium endpoint management and cyber security platform
- Experience in threat hunting using Tanium and other platforms, such as SentinelOne and Crowdstrike Falcon, preferred
- Experience in one or more of the following technical domains: endpoint security, endpoint support/troubleshooting, incident response, systems management, utility scripting (bash, PowerShell, VBScript, Python)
- Tanium Certifications: Tanium Certified Operator (TCO), Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA), and Tanium Certified Specialist – Cloud Deployment (TCS-CD) preferred
- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., Google IT Support Professional Certificate, CISSP, MCSE, A+/Security+/Network+ combined) preferred
- Experience managing enterprise customers and leading strategic pre-sales opportunities
- Demonstrated problem-solving and effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- A high level of initiative, a strong work ethic and dedication to quality

Wage LanguageÂ
The city of New York requires CRA to include a good-faith estimate of the wage range for this role. This range is specific to individuals applying to work in our New York office and considers several factors including, but not limited to, experience, education level and expertise. A good-faith estimate of the base wage range for this role is $95,000 - $110,000; actual total compensation may also include benefits and bonus.
