Senior level individual leading the platform security efforts for system and endpoint security solutions. Will focus on driving organization-wide security strategy keeping pace with the adoption of modern servers and endpoint security strategy.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
- Lead and supervise 3rd party managed service providers and contractors responsible for operating, implementing, and maintaining security controls within the collaboration and endpoint environment.
- Expert knowledge of implementation, enhancement and operationalization of security solutions for endpoint protection
- Develop, maintain and track solutions to accommodate security requirements to prevent threats and reduce risk using a combination of technologies (including EDR, PAM solutions, GPOs and various other hardening techniques)
- Responsible for the testing, evaluation, implementation and support of additional features and functionality within all managed toolsets.
- Design and maintain
- Implement and test security enhancements for endpoints
- Analyze security log data and identify optimization opportunities for efficiency improvements
- Collaborate with other technology team members to resolve tickets quickly and thoroughly with a focus on adding value wherever possible as well as to identify and implement process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with Security Operations team to work on critical and high issues when identified
- Knowledge of Microsoft endpoint security, device management, and able to develop security strategy for those areas.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux endpoint security, device management, and able to develop security strategy for those areas.
- Proven experience securing coexistent legacy environments and modern environments
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

- Ability to multi-task, troubleshoot and adapt to changing environment
- In-Depth knowledge of server concepts and implementation of best practices
- Configuration and installation of hardware and software solutions for securing our on premise server environment
- Security Updates Distribution adhering to Change and Release management Processes
- Process improvements through implementation of new technology and innovative solutions
- Self-sufficient, self-starting and able to work in fast-paced environment
- Proven track record of multi-tasking and delivering excellent customer support with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees within scope of responsibility)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree with Master's preferred in a related discipline, or equivalent
- Typically a minimum of ten years of related work experience.
