For this opportunity, we are looking for a technical SME/Solutions Architect that has demonstrated customer facing experience, including hands on and network architecture experience. Individual must have a strong passion for developing long term customer partnerships while meeting short term targets in a highly competitive marketplace.
• Enjoy leading deep technical discussions, including being proficient in lab environments.• Build and maintain relationships with highly technical customer base; enable parallel top-down sales through executive relationships and bottoms-up sales through teams.• Understand, anticipate, and articulate customer needs and work with business units and partners, developing and closing creative solutions to meet those needs• Strategic thinking is key to leveraging technical, marketing, end-user, and industry information to enable both Nokia's and customers' success.• Thrive in a complex selling environment and contribute to a high performance work environment
Location: Flexible with a preference for the candidate to be in the Northeast of the United States. Other potential locations are Ottawa and Toronto, Canada, Sunnyvale/Bay Area, Denver/CO and Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area.
Your skills and experience
You have:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical work experience.• 10+ years networking experience, including IP or data center related technologies.• 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, including leading customer engagements and internal strategy meetings.• In depth knowledge of IP networking and architectures.• Solid knowledge of Data Center networking, virtualization and architectures.• Expertise in protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN and MPLS.
It would be nice if you also had: • Hands-on experience on major network vendor equipment. • Advanced automation, Linux and DevOps skills.• Experience selling to Data Center and large Enterprise accounts.• Understanding of the latest technology trends in for:
- Network automation and programmability
- Protocols including netconf/YANG, OpenConfig, Telemetry
- Traffic engineering and network design
- Protocols including Segment Routing and IP/MPLS• Proven track record of break through sales

Your skills and experience
You have:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical work experience.• 10+ years of technical Data Center and/or IP/MPLS pre-sales experience, working with large Enterprises or Government in a customer facing technical sales role
• Experience with leading customer engagements and internal strategy meetings.• In-depth knowledge of IP/MPLS and Data Center networking and architectures with solid experience on DC network design.
• Working knowledge of Netconf/Yang, telemetry, virtualization security/firewall, and network management systems are an asset• Experience with networking protocols including IPv4/v6, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, VXLAN and MPLS/Segment Routing.
It would be nice if you also have: • Hands-on experience on major network vendors solutions. • Experience selling to Fortune 500 Enterprise accounts.• Understanding of the latest technology trends in for:
- Network automation and programmability
- Traffic engineering and network design
- Experience with Segment Routing• Proven track record of break through sales
