Consulting, Solution Specialist

Position Summary

Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Solution Specialist in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally.

Work You'll Do
Provide software testing and implementation services to help companies unlock the value of technology investments, ranging from requirements to architecture, testing to deployment, and beyond as discrete services or comprehensive solutions. Research user reported issues, identify root causes and resolutions, implement fixes, and liaise between business functions, end users, and technical delivery teams. Perform testing activities by understanding business use cases and draft test cases that describe system requirements, entry criteria, and exit criteria. Create test cases for functional, non-functional, system integration, black-box, white-box, and end-to-end testing for software implementation. Perform test estimation, test planning, test design, test execution, test reporting as well as coordinate testing and test artifacts across all phases of testing, including SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT (User Acceptance Testing), End-to-End, and Performance Testing. Route all test cases, testing results and reports for approvals as per established validation protocols.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 1 year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires 1 year of related work experience in each of the following:
• Developing automation test scripts using Java, Visual Basic Script (VBScript), and Unified Functional Testing (UFT) for end to end validation of the user interfaces;
• Strategizing and facilitating Smoke, and Regression testing phases, utilizing Unified Functional Testing (UFT);
• Writing Structured Query Language (SQL) queries of moderate to high complexity;
• Tracking system defects using Atlassian Jira, coordinating defect resolution efforts, and documenting resolution details;
• Performing Scrum methodology administration, configuring and customizing tasks to understand the technical requirements and validate the overall functionality as an integrated system; and
• Assisting in designing test plans and drafts and executing test cases using Unified Functional Testing (UFT), and Selenium.

Hours: M-F, 40 hours/week.
