What will you be doing?

As a Consulting Solutions Architect, you will be focused on representing WWT as a Subject Matter Expert in all areas of unified communications and collaboration. Providing business-aligned strategies to ensure the customer is identifying the right solutions to solve their technology challenges will be a key component of the role. You will Work with the SLED West customer base and WWT Outside Sales teams to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into WWT Unified Communications opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Works with state/local government and education (SLED) focused customers and WWT Outside Sales team to obtain technical priorities, challenges, and initiatives that can be translated into WWT technology, services and DevOps opportunities.
• Ability to integrate new architectural enhancements to existing infrastructures, design and propose technology solutions, tools and techniques to meet customer's existing and future needs.
• Responsible for the coordination, delivery, and quality of pre-sales technology solutions at every level within the customer base.
• Responsible for working with SLED West engineering team in designing, developing and proposing enterprise-wide solutions that meet customer's needs.
• Ensures that proposed solutions, when implemented, meet the needs and functional requirements of the customer
• Demonstrated experience navigating the customer landscape in the SLED space.
• Ensures effective coordination and support between account teams and supporting post sale technical resources.
• Assists in statement of work review and development.
• Develops and fosters relationships with strategic original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and key unified communications partners.

Requirements:

• Requires expert technical knowledge in UC, network engineering and IT systems engineering.
• Must possess excellent consulting analytical skills and be capable of quantifying risk to enterprise systems and level of compliance with industry standard UC and security policies.
• Excellent communication skills, presentation, technical sales and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum 10 years of technical enterprise pre-sales experience with a focus on Unified Communications solution architectures / transformation.
• Previous technical pre-sales experience within SLED.
• Strong engineering background with experience in Cisco Unified Communications (UC) architectures as well as Microsoft (Teams, cloud calling, etc.). Knowledge of Zoom and Poly are a plus.
• Relevant certifications in UC OEMs such as Cisco, Microsoft, Zoom, etc. are a plus and highly desired.
• Candidates will also be knowledgeable of networking protocols, IP networking and security related technologies.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Self-driven, business minded, goal orientated, willing to travel as required.
