Job Summary
The Consumer Experience Program Manager is responsible for the coordinated management of multiple large/complex ongoing and implementation projects. The role will be responsible for program and financial management that works with workstream project managers (who are responsible to the program manager for the execution of their project and its impact on the program) to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of the program. The role will have working knowledge of Alight Worklife, Alight Partner Network, Alight Well-Being, AI driven Personalized Messaging, and Communications Content creation to great holistic integration across the workstreams. Responsible for stakeholder management, particularly stakeholders external to the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides guidance and oversight to workstream project managers for project plan management, scope management, risk management, schedule management, financial management, resource management, and stakeholder management as needed
- Creates/manages execution of the program plans (quality, risk, communication, staffing, etc.) by using the tools identified in the planning phase and by auditing the results of their use to align the program outcomes with stakeholder expectations and standards
- Captures program status and data to maintain accurate and current program information for use by stakeholders
- Creates or directs the development of meeting materials, presentations, and writing of business cases for client-facing and executive leader situations
- Develops a high-level milestone plan using goals and objectives of the program, applicable historical information, and other available resources to align program with expectations of sponsors and stakeholders
- Addresses program issues by identifying and selecting a course of action, considering the program constraints and objectives, to enable continued program progress
- Ensures completion of the project and process evaluation, scorecard review, ongoing refresh schedule, and internal/external debrief meetings and documentation
- Understands and verifies the financial scope of the projects in the program and provides support and financial data for client lead/sales team to create proposals and support documentation
- Leverages financial acumen by using the appropriate financial tools to ensure billing accuracy and integrity
- Manages project budgets and applies advanced project costing knowledge
- Manages program changes in accordance with the change management plan to control scope, quality, schedule, costs, and contracts
- Effectively communicates with varying levels of internal and external contacts
- Demonstrates leadership skills by building team cohesiveness, leading, mentoring, training, and motivating to facilitate cooperation, ensure project efficiency, and boost morale
- Builds a Culture of Excellence to help accelerate growth, enhance individual and team effectiveness, drive quality, and reduce costs
- Has a proven track record in partnering with client or business leadership in the development and achievement of strategies to solve the client need for multiple projects, leveraging multiple tools including technology
- Works with constituent project managers to solution complex requests
- Consults with internal and external stakeholders on the integration of Alight Worklife, Alight Partner Network, Alight Well-Being, AI driven Personalized Messaging, and/or Communications Content
- Asks appropriate questions to guide clients/client leads on how to meet goals/objectives for complex and interdependent projects
- Confidently presents creative options to clients/client leads; demonstrates strong presentation skill level in client-facing situations
Knowledge, Education, Certification, Skills & Technical Proficiency
Master's degree and/or equivalent work experience required. PMP, PgMP, or Six Sigma Certification
Technical skills:
- 8-10+ years of demonstrated project management experience managing multiple projects, programs, and/or processes
- Experience in the application of professional principles and business judgment to solve unique problems and to meet overall client and business objectives
- Fluent skills: Smartsheet, Microsoft Office suite, JIRA task management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced role, integrating across internal and external workstreams and effectively manage assigned responsibility area with assigned client, partner, and/or vendor.
- Benefits, healthcare, financial or HR technology or artificial intelligence experience is a plus

Therefore, an offer may fall anywhere in between the estimated minimum base salary for this role of $92,100.00/year (for full time employees) and the estimated maximum base salary for this role of $176,500.00/year (for full time employees). In addition to a base salary, this position may be bonus eligible.
