Consumer Insights Analyst

Summary
Working closely with the Consumer Insights Manager, the Analyst, Consumer Insights will help us build and elevate the insights team for a beloved consumer brand. This role will support insights needs across the core brand, new opportunities, and food service. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for someone interested in making the switch from supplier to client-side or looking to continue their insights career in the CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industry!
Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and driving research plans, using a mix of traditional and non-traditional research methodologies.
• Assist in managing day-to-day relationships with external partners/vendors.
• Work with a wide variety of quantitative (Packaging, Ad Testing, Brand Health, A&Us, etc.) and Qualitative (Focus Groups, Ethnographies/1:1s, etc.) research and syndicated data (e.g., POS and Panel data)
• Assist in analyzing and reporting process for primary and secondary research projects, with the manager's guidance.
• Balance multiple projects and when needed, seek the manager's guidance on prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Marketing Research or Data Analytics required.
• Bachelor's in Marketing, Business Administration, Marketing Research, Behavior Psychology, or Social Sciences degree from an accredited 4-year college preferred or equivalent proven experience with emphasis in Marketing Research or Consumer Behavior.

Additional Qualifications

• Working knowledge in primary and secondary research, syndicated research, qual and quant research techniques, and unstructured data
• Working knowledge of IRI/Circana (POS and Panel) or Numerator data (Preferred, Not required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

The compensation ranges between $70,000-$80,000 base salary plus bonus and is based on an individual's potential contribution.
