ABOUT THE ROLE
Hey you! Yes, you! We see you over there, painstakingly scrolling through every product review before you pull the trigger and purchase that fancy toaster you've always dreamed of! But you're not just going to buy the first toaster you come across on the interwebs. No way. You're going to do hours of research; keeping track of dimensions, bread slots, materials, all in one organized spreadsheet to ensure this isn't just a "starter" toaster, but instead your "forever" toaster. So, if doing absurd amounts of research rings true in anyway, then you've stumbled across the perfect position.
As our Consumer Insights Manager, you'll be joining our Customer Experience Strategy team where you'll focus on insights within emerging markets while also developing amazing research projects in order to help the business grow.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define our consumers, and leverage consumer insights to inform brand strategies and activations, including our sports marketing initiatives
- Drive action-oriented research and generate insights that help grow the business
- Work closely and collaborate with marketing, product and other departments to understand their challenges and influence their priorities
- Assist in development and execution of research projects and work hand in hand with research agency to compile consumer reports
- Provide consumer centric solutions through deep understanding of all relevant audiences
- Generate valuable customer and market insights that will inform our product strategy, influence our go-to-market strategy, and enable us to create and execute campaigns that drive acquisition and retention
ABOUT THE IDEAL CANDIDATEÂ
- May or may not have a degree...we don’t care (bonus points for Basset Hound Science or Dinosaur Law)
- Asks a lot of questionsÂ
- Previous experience working in or with a research agency is a PLUSÂ
- Bonus points if you have sports marketing experience
- Has the ability to read, analyze, and interpret research reports
- Is an Excel/Sheets and database tools wizard who is comfortable with reading and pulling insights from research reports
- Can objectively evaluate product/marketing performance to establish clear growth goals
- Dependable with the willingness to take initiative to work collaboratively and with a sense of urgency
- Loves the work more than a paycheckÂ
- Is happy to give away credit to their teamÂ
- Loves getting and giving feedbackÂ
- Is into personal growth
- Thinks Fun is being great (not partying)Â
- Is proactive and an independent problem solver! (Can you google a question?)
