Brief Overview of Position  

 

The Consumer Lifecycle Strategy Owner is responsible for designing and delivering differentiated and competitive value propositions based on defined consumer and small business segments. This role will support the design, development and execution of go-to-market strategies and initiatives to drive overall brand acquisition and customer engagement.   

 

Responsibilities 

  • Establish customer lifecycle strategy by segment across acquisition, early client engagement, and ongoing retention experiences 

  • Develop test-and-learn strategies to understand what marketing channels and messages resonate best with existing and prospective customers to ultimately drive new customer acquisition and deepen existing customer relationships 

  • Build engagement programs to deliver against business objectives through deep understanding of client needs and marketplace dynamics 

  • Develop target recommendations for product penetration by segment, partnering with marketing and product teams to understand relevance and adoption metrics  

  • Assess relevant customer, competitor, and industry insights to help define strategies to improve client experience and portfolio growth 

  • Manage the customer communication calendar and ensure appropriate stakeholders are engaged  

  • Own and manage the Market Strategy collateral lifecycle to ensure cohesive and accurate messaging across marketing channels. 

  • Own Consumer Product Exception Council 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant degree. 

  • Effective team player with ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.  

  • Analytical skills - critical thinking, data and information analysis, research, and problem solving. 

  • Organizational and time management skills. 

  • Collaborative team player with excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly adapt to changing environment and systems 

  • Experience with go-to-market and/or product strategies  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication + interpersonal skills with the ability to present internally and externally 

  • Customer-first mindset, with client service and operations experience a plus  

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce reports, correspondence, and presentations.
