We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to join Snap! As a member of the Snapchat Marketing team, you will be responsible for planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns on- and off-Snapchat that drive community growth and deepen engagement with our various consumer products. You will collaborate with a variety of stakeholders across our company, including product, growth, and communications teams, to develop strategies and plans in support of our marketing and business goals.
Ideally, you’re a consumer marketing expert who understands how to develop product value propositions and translate them into growth campaigns that drive action. You’re at ease working in a fast moving and ambiguous environment in which you will simultaneously manage multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders, and showcase excellent problem solving and communication skills, in order to drive impact across different teams. You will use your market knowledge as well as mine research and data for insights to inform marketing strategies and plans. Working with cross-functional teams, you will coordinate marketing efforts to grow awareness, understanding, adoption, and engagement for a variety of Snapchat products globally.
What you’ll do:
Support efforts to drive growth of the Snapchat community and engagement with our products
Manage the process start to finish for crafting strategy, development and execution of integrated marketing plans, including organic and paid campaigns, both on- and off-Snapchat
Manage and execute multiple impactful projects successfully. You show clear capacity for problem-solving, self-direction, time management and prioritization. You own a revenue line or key KPI and demonstrate a consistent ability to drive core metrics.
Collaborate with the Consumer Insights team to deeply understand the Snapchat community, our various audiences, and our brand
Audit the competitive landscape, understand target markets, and identify insights to inform product strategies and go-to-market activities
Develop core product positioning and messaging for select consumer products and features, considering value proposition, target audience, competitive landscape, and other factors
Lead by influence and collaborate with internal and external creative teams to bring campaigns, programs and assets to life; demonstrate strong judgment and discretion
Manage and work with cross-functional teams (including PR, design, external agencies, product, and growth stakeholders) to deliver world-class marketing communications for a range of initiatives
Partner with the media team to develop brand and performance-driven media plans that deliver our message effectivelyÂ
Monitor, analyze, and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make real-time optimization and forward-looking recommendations
Synthesize learnings into actionable insights to shape plans and report findings and best practices to cross-functional teams
Develop and oversee measurement dashboard for marketing initiatives (e.g., reach/awareness, user behavior, efficiency, and sentiment metrics) in conjunction with consumer insights, growth, comms, data science and marketing science teams
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Deep understanding of communications apps and the relevant ecosystem
Experience working directly with creatives, product, and communications teams to partner on campaigns
Experience working on tech launches along with a passion for tapping into cultureÂ
Excellent communication skills, confident in challenging the status quo at multiple levels of leadership, and communicates clearly and concisely in complex situations
Proven track record in collaborating across teams
Operates with limited guidance and oversight
Demonstrated success in establishing business relationships and ability to coach others
Acts as a change agent to drive large scale improvement, and provides leadership across peers to drive common processes, share best practices, and deliver Marketing strategy that enables business strategy
Can manage and execute multiple impactful projects successfully, and shows a clear capacity for problem-solving, self-direction, time management and prioritization
Deep understanding of customer needs, underlying technology, competition and partner ecosystem that you translate into 6-12 months plan & vision, and get buy-in from stakeholders, you also prove how your launches/business moments/GTM/marketing programs map to company priorities
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, strategy, business, communicationsÂ
7+ years with consumer and/or product marketing experience
Experience working on global, multi-market campaignsÂ
If based in NY, ability to travel to LA on a quarterly basis to meet with Product and Marketing teamsÂ
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with using the Google Suite of web applications
Familiarity with navigating Figma or other product/UI design softwareÂ
Familiarity with navigating Looker or other similar real-time data analytics platforms

The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - 180,000 annually
This position is eligible for a discretionary performance-based bonus.
This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs
For CA and NY based applicants:Â
The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - 190,000 annually
