Job Description

The Consumer Support Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting the Consumer Delivery department in one or more of the following areas: Staffing, Shared Resource, Project Management, Employee Experience, and Client Experience. This role has tasks that are generally complex and diverse in nature requiring broad and comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of Bank's policies and practices. The Consumer Support Specialist operates independently and performs considerable coordination and follow-through; sets priorities and procedures for accomplishing work assignment.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will identify FTE requirements and assist in creating a staffing strategy for Consumer Delivery & Shared Resources
  • You'll assist leaders and Human Resources with the coordination of hiring, training, and onboarding of new employees
  • You will prepare work schedules and collaborates with leadership to build accountability to adherence of the Attendance Guidelines
  • You will provide Shared Resources reporting daily, weekly, and monthly to leadership
  • You will manage and own the New Hire/Onboarding and RISE coordination
  • You will be a liaison between the Consumer training team and Consumer Delivery leadership
  • You'll build, plan, and execute a calendar of events and recognition for the year
  • You will provide reporting and analytics around Client Experience surveys and scores

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate's Degree and 5 years of experienceor equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Advance knowledge of file maintenance
  • Advanced PC and software application skills; ability to operate a 10 key by touch
  • Good math skills and ability to understand/calculate percentages and fractions
  • General understanding of basic accounting principles in order to monitor budget expenditures and maintain accurate expense records for accounts payable and internal audits
  • Advance understanding of department operating practices and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including appropriate standards regarding letters, memorandum, composition, and proper telephone etiquette
  • Advanced organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a competent and professional manner
  • Advance knowledge of file maintenance
  • Knowledge of staff scheduling and workload distribution
