Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer you will harness the power of the latest tools and technologies to craft cutting-edge software solutions for the Information Management Systems product. Your responsibilities encompass the entire software development lifecycle ensuring that components are meticulously designed rigorously tested debugged verified and poised for seamless integration into IBM’s world-class hierarchical database solutions. Your contributions will play a pivotal role in aiding organizations to enhance their business outcomes in the global marketplace.

Key Duties:

• State-of-the-Art Software Solutions:

Leverage the latest tools and technologies to deliver state-of-the-art software solutions for the Information Management Systems product.

• Expert Design and Development:

Ensure software components are expertly designed tested debugged and verified to meet the highest standards of quality.

• Integration into Hierarchical Database Solutions:

Prepare software components for integration into IBM’s hierarchical database solutions contributing to world-class database solutions.

• Business Outcome Improvement:

Contribute to the improvement of business outcomes for organizations in the global marketplace through the delivery of robust software solutions.

• Execution of Development and Testing Tasks:

Execute tasks required for the development or testing of the Information Management Systems product ensuring alignment with specifications client requirements and business needs.

Other Duties:

• Development of IBM Fusion HCI features
• Review the requirements to install system.
• Assist installation of IBM Fusion HCI system at customer site.
• Provide remote troubleshooting and analysis assistance for usage and configuration questions.
• Develops best practice articles and support utilities to improve support quality and productivity.
• Respond to escalated customer calls complaints and queries #CRCW_22

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Relevant University degree ideally in Information Technology or Computer Science.
• Fluency in English – both verbal and written
• Solid technical knowledge about Container solutions or at least 3- 4yrs work experience Kubernetes Ansible or Docker implementing solutions
• At least 2-3yrs work experience in Development implementing code using Python Shell scripts or C++

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Professional experience with Software Support
• Red Hat Openshift Golang Linux Systems administration Network Administration.
