Situated in Brisbane, QLD, Australia, this position is part of our Quality Assurance team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., committed to upholding outstanding contamination control standards.

A day in the Life:

• Develop and implement contamination control strategies for the site
• Coordinate Environmental Monitoring systems and drive improvements
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines

Keys to Success:

• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proven track record to drive compliance, project delivery and influencing cross functional improvements.
• Strong collaboration with quality control, production and engineering teams
• Active participation in the global organisation, contributing to and leveraging best practices across the network

Education

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required.
• An Advanced degree in Microbiology or a related field is preferred, although equivalent experience will also be considered.

Experience

• Extensive experience in microbiology and contamination control
• Proven track record in regulatory inspections
• Experience in biomanufacturing processes

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of contamination control requirements
• Strong understanding of regulatory guidelines
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role involves working in an office setting. Inspections of the manufacturing and laboratory environment are a requirement for this role. Occasional travel may be necessary for audits and inspections.
