The Role
We are seeking a well-rounded digital marketing professional for our Content & SEO Specialist position. This individual will be responsible for working with all types of clients to understand their needs and develop optimization strategies that increase their search engine results rankings. This candidate will participate in client calls and provide monthly strategy plans and reports. A successful candidate will be up to date on current SEO best practices, communicate with their clients and team members to ensure all deliverables are met, and work with internal team members to achieve client goals. We're seeking someone with impeccable presentation skills as well as an innate ability to problem solve and inspire clients with big-picture opportunities.This position is a regular, full-time, exempt position. DRINKS is home-based in Los Angeles; however, we are now a remote-first company.

What You'll do
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies in alignment with client goals and target audience.
- Conduct keyword research to identify relevant keywords and incorporate them strategically into content.
- Create high-quality and engaging contents strategies for blog posts, landing pages, and product pages, adhering to SEO best practices.
- Optimize existing content to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Collaborate with the Content Manager and writing team to ensure consistency in brand voice, style, and messaging across all content.
- Work closely with the web development department to complete technical SEO tasks, including website audits, on-page optimization, and implementing SEO recommendations for Shopify Migration projects.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and emerging SEO techniques
- Conduct competitor analyses to identify content gaps and opportunities for differentiation.
- Continuously optimize content and SEO strategies based on performance metrics and feedback.
- Take on special projects as necessary.
About You
- 2+ years of professional experience in a Content & SEO Specialist role, preferably in the ecommerce industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies that drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO principles and best practices.
- Proficient in conducting keyword research and utilizing SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, etc.
- Some experience with Shopify Migration projects and familiarity with Shopify platform.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website development concepts to collaborate effectively with web development teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content and effectively communicate SEO recommendations.
- Detail-oriented and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to delivering exceptional work.
- Willingness to go above and beyond to achieve results and exceed client expectations.
- Experience working in a remote environment.
