About the Role:
As the Content Associate, Special Projects, you will support all work streams across the Content organization, and ensure that the office of the Chief Content Officer operates seamlessly.
This hire is required to be onsite at the Fox lot in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Chief Content OfficerÂ
- Back-up support for the Executive Assistant as needed, including scheduling, rolling calls, travel and expense reports
- Ensure that meetings are efficient (timely with agendas) and work closely with the EA on scheduling priorities
- Attend meetings (internal and external) to record minutes and ensure follow-ups are assigned and carried out
- Coordinate with Content team members on important work streams to ensure efficiency, including presentations (planning, reporting), deals (negotiating, approvals), budgets (acquired, original, administrative), all phases of creative (pitches, development, greenlight, notes, etc.) and go-to-market strategies for original content (creative assets, festivals, windowing, etc.).Â
- Work directly with talent, filmmakers and studio representatives to ensure that they have a positive experience working with Tubi
- Oversee gifting (holiday and ongoing) for key stakeholders and talent
- Work closely with cross-functional peers to ensure that teams are aligned and collaborating well.
- Collate information and data analysis (internal and external) for the CCO and key leads
- Monitor the content landscape and assess new opportunities in film and television
- Assist in developing and maintaining content partnerships including with filmmakers and talent
- Communicate information internally and externally on behalf of the CCO
- Travel as needed to events and festivals to support the CCO and the Content team
Your background:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of experience in content acquisitions or development at a major studio, distribution company, network, streaming platform or leading agency
- Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
- Capable Excel and Powerpoint skills; experience with Workday is a plus
- Flexibility and willingness to pivot to new priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Genuine curiosity, significant attention to detail, and strong desire to contribute to the success of the team through organization, efficiency and strong communication
- Passionate consumer of premium Movies & TV
- Based in Los Angeles
- Willingness to travel as needed, domestically and internationally
