Job Summary

As a Manager, Content Business Development at LG Electronics USA you will maintain, establish, and expand business relationships with a wide variety of North America-based content, media, and entertainment companies to integrate and distribute their services on our products. The role takes the lead in negotiating multi year partnerships for distribution on our Smart TVs to include and not limited to our advertising video on demand service "LG Channels", our app store called "LG Smart World", and our "ThinQ" artificial intelligence platform. You will also be able to influence content related innovations to integrate into our webOS Smart TV operating system.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and execute LG US content business development roadmap.

• Implement agreements with US content partners and media companies for launching their service on LG devices.

• Provide quarterly revenue reports to executives as well as reviewing with major partners to drive revenue models.

• Negotiate business terms for transactional video on demand distribution on LG Smart TVs

• Manage and lead a cross functional team, discussions between business partners and technical teams

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with advanced and progressive skills in over the top (OTT) content, business development focused on negotiating content distribution deals; MBA preferred

• Knowledge of the content and media distribution ecosystem preferred.

• Strong presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders.

• Negotiation and drafting of contract experience preferred.
